Narnia bound

We’re taking the girls out to the noon-time show of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Youngest actually said that she wanted to go see the movie (you don’t know how rare it is for us to get that out of her — she’ll usually want to see one or two animated movies in a year, but turns down many more on offer) and eldest has been eager to see it since we first spoke of the film’s production.

They’re both familiar with the story thanks to the books and the books on CD versions. I’m not a total C.S. Lewis fangirl (Narnia is problematic for me in the evangelistic bits: but I love his more wicked writings!) but I am sure I’ll enjoy this adaptation.

You bet you will. Tell me if you dare that the casting wasn’t perfect.

I don’t think the casting was perfect, but I liked it!
