Back to Marking
I got distracted for a few hours there: writing up a “How to start a graduate program” brief for a friend (it’ll be off in the email as soon as I proofread it), checking the enrollment status of students signed up for next year’s senior seminars (we might have to turf the third years in order to have enough spaces for graduating students) and chatting with the siding contractor. (He’s going to meet with us at 5:15 this afternoon if you’re following along at work, Mike.)
It’s a dropdead gorgeous day outside so I don’t regret walking to pick up youngest from school. But now I think I’d better get on with the marking. I want to submit one set of marks tomorrow and another on Friday. I won’t be able to do that if I don’t get through the pile in my briefcase!
