Thursday and Friday I had my first classes hand in work to mark. Just tutorial responses (maximum 250 word answers to questions posed at the end of a classroom discussion of primary source material). I just have to wash the dishes and then set down to ticking up that marker in the sidebar.

I also received an important interlibrary loan book so that I can start working on expanding the Jane Seymour research. I have the core which will be the focus of my conference presentations in October and next March but The King’s Bedpost gives me some ideas on how to broaden the context when discussing Jane’s place in the Tudor group portraits.

So, soon there should be progress on both fronts!
