Happiness is. . .

a Christmas well-spent with family. The girls were good about waiting for grown-ups to be ready for the morning’s unwrapping and thrilled to all of their presents. Youngest was in heaven over a new manga book, a new game and a bunch of Playmobil. Eldest was enthralled with her own new game, lots of new clothes and a digital camera. (Must go out and buy rechargeable batteries and a bigger memory card — she’s a photo-taking fiend.)

I got lots of lovely stuff, but the best bit was time with family and a feeling of pure relaxation. That, and time to read the new books I got for Christmas. One and a half down so far, several still to go!
