Reading for Fun: Fathom Five

I finally have in my hot little hands the sequel to James Bow’s wonderful YA novel, The Unwritten Girl: Fathom Five. (I had to wait for eldest to finish it before I could start in.)

Having loved the first book in the series so much, and having followed him workshopping parts of the stories on his blog over the years, I’m thrilled to be finally reading the next step in the adventures of Peter and Rosemary. My sister will also be begging for her own copy, so we might pick up another when we’re back at the bookstore. And as soon as this one’s finished, I’ll be anxiously awaiting word that his third novel in the series has been signed by Dundurn Press. If you liked the work of Madeleine L’Engle, you will love these slightly mystical stories that take place just on the other side of reality. Go, go! Get thee hence to a bookstore and start reading!
