Dream home (Mk. 2)

It’s another year with the Kinsmen Club of Sudbury Sweeptstakes Home. We took the girls today to see the house, though they were already familiar with the layout from the virtual tour. The decoration and finishing are spectacular. It’s a dream home in most every sense of the word (only caveat? A slightly bigger yard would be nice!). Both girls were amazed at the picture size possible with a projection TV and they agree that the house would be just fine. Mike fell in love with the enormous amount of storage space. Me? I’m easy to please, though the whirlpool tub looked particularly tempting.

We bought our ticket but chances are 6500/1 so we don’t hold out much hope. Still, a good cause and a good dream — even if the result is two heartbroken little girls come November when the draw is done.

Alternatively, it’s a good way for them to learn that winning lotteries is pretty uncommon! Still, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you ;-)
