New Abode

We were all moved in around ten p.m. last night. What a crazy, crazy, crazy day! Too small a moving truck (all their larger ones were out on long-distance moves) and a late closing meant we didn’t get the partial load into the house until almost four p.m. But we’re here and we even have cable internet set-up, woohoo!

Whittling down the piles of boxes is my next objective. I’m almost done unpacking the kitchen and youngest’s room. Next? Who knows. Pictures will follow. . . eventually!

    Hurrah!

I must say, this is one more argument (like we needed another) for moving to Canada — we had to wait two agonizing weeks before they’d turn our internet on.

Ricki, it IS exciting. Wait ’til I get pictures of the newly painted bedroom. And meg? They also gave us a new modem and a new TV controller for our cable box.

Congrats on the move…My favorite part of moving is the part you’re just about to undertake in earnest: unpacking. As an inveterate rearranger, I find the opportunity to completely create a new environment to be astonishingly invigorating. Have fun!
